Samsung is ripping off the Apple's EarPods for the Galaxy S6

Samsung's current smartphone earphones are nothing special, they have generic designs and give us a cheap feel too. Moreover they don't sound all that great. They are liable just get left in the box in their plastic wrapping. But, we're thankful to Apple, its new set could be a lot better.

When Apple's Gerg Joswiak first introduced the EarPods on stage at the iPhone 5 event in 2012, he said they "look unlike any headphone you have ever seen before," Samsung won't be able to say the same for its new earphones, however because thry are essentially EarPods clones.

It has taken a lot longer than we predicted, but the South Korean company has finally gotten around to launch an EarPod ripoff of its own, and it's expected to come bundled with the upcoming Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

They certainly look much better than before. They look almost similar to EarPods, but they are shaped slightly different to extend a little further into our ear canal than Apple's EarPods do.
They also consist of a soft rubber cover that improves grip, and tacky silver accents.

SamMobile reports that Samsung may have worked with Sennheiser to improve the sound quality of its new earphones, but they don't have Sennheiser branding on them. So possibly Samsung will tell us more about its rumored patnership during its Unpacked event.
