Tata Consultancy Service is the largest IT company of India. The Tata Group is fond of many extra curricular activities which help the youth enhance their grey matter and teach them to survive the fast growing and merciless industry which has cut throat competition. The level of education provided in our universities is not par with the requirement of the blue chip companies. It was found that they had to invest a lot of time on the freshers. So they decided to provide students a better understanding of their respective engineering fields.

TCS in support with the Board for IT Education Standards will organize a quiz competition for students of engineering. The quiz will be held in Karnataka. Its open for all students irrespective of their branch and semesters. The locations chosen for Regional level quiz are Tumkur, Mysore, Mangalore, Hubli, Gulbarga and Bangalore. The dates are March 14,17,19,24,26 and 31 respectively. On March 31 Bangalore will host the State Finals. TCS has assured that the winners of the competition in Regional and State Finals will be felicitated with scholarship and attractive gifts. No entry fee will be charged by the organizers. The rules state that each college can send 10 teams and each team comprising two students. Entries must be sent before March 11 to bitesitquiz@gmail.com . The students must have a good grip across new trends, businesses and upcoming people and legends. Questions on new fields in IT like cloud computing,robotics,social media, biometrics and many more may be asked.
