Here are some important points to noted before you proceed :
- Please note that jailbreaking your iPhone may void your warranty and hence proceed with caution and at your own risk.
- Absinthe supports only iOS 5.1.1
- This guide is only meant for windows user.
- Do not forget to backup your iDevice before you proceed.
- Before we start, make sure to disable the passcode lock if you have one on your device by going into settings > General > Passcode lock. You may turn lock back again as soon as the jailbreak is complete.
1) Download Absinthe zip file and extract the file and launch the application.
2) Open Absinthe and plug in your iDevice.
3) Click on "Jailbreak" button.
4) Wait for the progress bar to finish with its loading, meanwhile kindly don't mess with your device.
5) After running the program there should be an Absinthe application installed on your iDevice. Open the application, If you face a database error then keep closing and reopening it.
6) After the Cydia bundles loads properly, your device should restart.
7) That's it, your iPhone is successfully jailbroken.
