uBlock- A less memory hungry AdBlocker

Adblocker plus was a revolutionary extension in Chrome. It blocked ads and also filtered them. Nobody imagined that it was possible to block ad from server. We should have a sense of responsibility as the internet is totally funded by these annoying ads. Internet would have never reached this milestone if it wasn't for the ads.
But there are ads who are so stubborn that needs to be blocked rightway. Some are running in the background, some are mixed with your content and some exist for no reason. There are services to track you all around the web so that the ads are best suited only for you.
Day by day the complexity in internet is increasing so the extensions have demanded more RAM space leading to slower processes. It was reported that multitasking using these processes had became a lot tedious.

AdBlock extension loads a 4 MB CSS stylesheet on every page it loads. It gets more difficult when creating iframes. Its a funny situation because we load extension to prevent slowing down of system but this process itself is so heavy that it drains system performance.
Of lately AdBlock Plus was under a lot of criticism because it was eating a large chunk of memory. Ublock a new extension solved its need. In an idle state Ublock used least memory than other competitors and also worked in minimum interface. It shows blocked elements in its icon and statistics about the blocked elements on the page. Filters can be loaded from various lists.
The selling point of this extension is that it uses user friendly interface and tries minimum memory usage. Next time if you see your system lagging and you happen to be using AdBlock do try UBlock.
