Panasonic has launched a new "rugged" tablet in India, called the Toughpad FZ-B2, and is now available for Rs 75,000.
The Toughpad runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and it is powered by a quad-core Intel Celeron processor along with 2GB of RAM. It has a 7-inch multi-touch display which features 500 nit daylight readable screen with 5-point capacitive touch.
The durability features includes MIL-STD-810G design which is 5' drop, rain, sand, dust, altitude, shock, vibration, freeze/thaw, temperature shock, high/low temperature, explosive atmosphere humidity proof. IP65 certified sealed all-weather design which is fanless, Magnesium alloy chassis which are encased with ABS and elastomer corner guards too. Optional hand strap and even rotating hand strap, Port covers and Raised bezel for LCD impact protection and Pre-installed replaceable screen film for LCD protection.
The Panasonic's Toughpad FZ-B2 features 5MP rear camera with a flashlight, 15fps and 720p webcam with a mic. It comes with quick charging replaceable full-shift battery in addition to standard 7 hour battery.
