After making the nexus 9 for the google, HTC is now focusing on its own tablet which will be on the basis of the nexus 9. According to the leaks, the new tablet on which HTC is working, will have the same dimensions as that of the Nexus 9. i.e it will be 9 inch display and 4:3 aspect ratio. But the hardware specifications are supposed to be different.
The tablet is not expected to hot the market in the Q1 of 2015. HTC hasn't had the best best track records as far as the tablets are considered. HTC flyer and HTC jetstream, the first two tablets by HTC were such big failures that most of them dont even know that

Big expensive tablets are still proving their worth in the market and Samsung is the only one who seems to be lucky when it comes to tablets. Hopefully HTC will make a better efforts with its new upcoming tablet as the nexus 9 didnt give the feel of a premium tablet.
