Grab 2GB free Data Storage on Google Drive on completing security check by 17th February!


On account of Safer Internet Day (10th February), Google reminds that security of your Google drive is as important as security of your email. Everything what is stored on your drive is encrypted data. It needs to be protected to avoid misuse. Google is giving away free 2GB storage on your drive if you complete a simple security check by 17th February. This 2GB storage is for life-time. You just need bypass a small security check. And believe us that this security check is not at all tedious and it will take up only your few minutes.

What role this security check plays?
1. It confirms your current recovery email information.
2. It allows you to review your log-in statistics.
3. It assists you to confirm the apps and devices linked with your account. Also you can remove the apps and devices which are no more necessary to be linked with your account.

Once you are done with your security checkup, you will notice three green colored check-boxes (refer the image below) which will confirm that you have successfully completed the procedure and you are now eligible for free storage. In addition, this shows you are concerned about your drive protection and you have taken steps to safeguard it.


You will be provided with the storage facility on around 28th of February. Also Google will send you a notifying email.

DISADVANTAGE : This storage won't be applicable for Google Apps for Work and Google Apps for Education.
