After receiving a overwhelming response for its smartphones, and also after establishing itself well in various sectors with purifiers, pen drives & powerbanks, there have been rumours of the firm stepping into making smartwatches. Xiaomi is rightly called China's Apple and now after Apple's recent launch of the Apple watch, it seems that Xiaomi has taken it as a challenge and now wants to have a firm grip over the smartwatch section as well.
A few features of the Xiaomi smartwatch were very recently reported by GSM Arena. Accorsing to the report, the smartwatch will have a circular dial and boast an elegant metal design. Also the watch comes with a pulse wave velocity determiner which can check the stiffness of your arteries.
Xiaomi also recently ventured into action Cameras. The Yi Action Camera was launched recently which is by far the most affordable action camera.
Again as we've mentioned before, there is no specific news on the authenticity of the Xiaomi smartwatch but from the little that we've managed to know, it seems that Xiaomi is planning to compete the Apple watch and the other Android wears in the market. Also considering the trend that Xiaomi sets, if they launch the smartwatch, it will definitely be priced less than the other Android wears presently competing in the market.
