Referred as the thinnest smartphone of the world, the 4.85mm thin Oppo R5 which debuted in October will now launch in India for Rs 29,990 which approximates to $470. The handset will be available for pre-booking in India from January 1, 2015.
With a thickness of just 4.85mm, the Oppo R5 is the Chinese manufacturer's thinnest smartphone to date. The recent influx of svelte smartphones means that the Oppo R5 has to contend with the likes of Vivo X5 Max and Gionee's Elife S5.1 in India.
