LG G Flex 2 Launched At Rs. 55000 With A Curved Display


Curved Smartphone was only a norm before LG launched the World's first curved Smartphone LG Flex and now yesterday at LG Tech Show in New Delhi, LG launched the LG G Flex 2 which is the successor to the LG G Flex . Announced in January at CES 2015, G Flex 2 is touted to be one of the most anticipated Smartphones of the year and the phone will be available next month at a price of Rs. 55000. It will be available in Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red colours.

The phone was the first one to have the Snapdragon 810 processor and is coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The phone sports a a 5.5-inch full-HD curved P-OLED display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution and a 403ppi pixel density and comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is a Single SIM Smartphone and will support 4G LTE Network.

LG has bought a new technology with this phone called the Dura-Guard glass which is supposed to make the whole phone 30 percent more durable than the original and this technology is 20 percent tougher than Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The G Flex2's curved display has a 700mm-radius curvature and the back is sharper with a 650mm-radius curvature for grip.
On the storage front, The LG G Flex 2 has 16GB and 32GB variant which would be expandable via microSD card. The phone feature a 13 MP shooter with optical image stabilisation, dual-LED two-tone flash and laser-guided autofocus which we have previously seen in LG G3. The front facing camera features 2.1 MP. The phone weighs 152 grams and packs a 3000mAh non-removable battery. Also announced yesterday was the LG Urbane watch at Rs. 30,000 and the world's first 5K television in India with the magic remote and running TV Web OS. The premium television will be priced Rs 59, 99,900.
