Siri, Apple's voice assistnat will now be able to understand English with an Indian accent. Siri is way better in many features than its Android counterpart i.e OK Google. But when it comes to understanding English accent, Siri can go hapazardly weird and frustrating as well. It is here that the Android counterpart, OK Google takes a extra point.
Users had to fake their accent to get their commands recognised by Siri.But this msy not be the case in the days to come.
According to a report in 9to5Mac, Siri will soon start comprehending the Indian accent. Siri support for languages like English for India, Danish, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Sweedish & Thai is to be added in iOS 8.3 beta 2.
Siri also takes care of the dictation on iOS. This makes it all the more a better reason to use it. Indian Users will pretty soon be able to write full length articles without typing a single word.
